Homer Ruh (Homer Lewis Ruh) was born on September 19, 1895 in Columbus, Ohio. After going to high school at South (Columbus, OH), Ruh attended none. Ruh made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Columbus Panhandles. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Columbus Panhandles the entire time. Ruh also played in the NFL for 4 years, playing for the Columbus Tigers and Columbus Panhandles over the course of his 4 year NFL career.
