Homer Peel

Homer Peel (Homer Hefner Peel) was born on October 10, 1902 in Fort Sullivan, Texas. He made his Major League debut on September 13, 1927 for the St. Louis Cardinals. In 1929, his rookie year, he hit .269 with 0 home runs and 19 RBI. Peel played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies and New York Giants over the course of his 5 year career.
