Easily the best stuff of any minor league pitcher over the past couple of seasons. Only weakness is command, having three plus pitches sometimes causes control issues because of movement, needs to learn sometimes to take something off. Hampered in 2007 by a groin injury which cost him time but may have been a blessing because the injury slowed down his delivery and proved to Bailey he doesn't always need his A game to be successful. Should be #2 behind Aaron Harang in Cincinnati's 2008 rotation.
