Okay, let me be clear…These aren’t my words, but some how everybody else and their mothers who are in the media profession somehow think that owning a 12-0 record and being four games away from running the table suddenly think that the Pats are somehow flawed! Why, it’s the story of the day! All the bull shit started last week when Ratchet Jaws-orski had nothing better to do than to break down Randy Moss’s play against the Philadelphia Eagles and conclude that he "supposedly" took a couple of plays off…Yeah, that’s great reporting you Polock! How awesome is that…Even when the Pats win, everybody wants to crucify them, or should I say nit pick…Because in essence, that’s all it is! Nit picking!
Look, the past two weeks the Pats haven’t brought their game to the field, while the Eagles and Ravens have done…And forgive me if I’m wrong, but this is still the NFL, right? Where players get paid beaucoup bucks to perform, so forgive the Eagles and Ravens for not lying down and rolling over like so many teams have down with New England this season. Forgive them for busting them in the mouth saying "Here we are, and we’re going to be here the whole game!" I guess these two teams never got the "roll over and die email".
Although, it’s like Steve Young said last night…For New England not to bring their "A" game and still find a way to pull games out when for the past two weeks they could’ve shut it down says a lot of their character and will to win every time out! This is the precise reason why they will run the table. Now sure, should the refs have swallowed their whistles on the fourth down pass interference penalty? Um, likely! You let players decide games! Did the Pats reek the benefits? You bet your ass they did, but games don’t come down to one play…Anybody that knows shit about sports will tell you that! Now sure that didn’t help, but oh well!
OMG, I sound like a Pats fan…Which I’m not! Although, I do admit I want to see them run the table! For the simple fact that, why the hell Don Shula suddenly appears in the ESPN broadcast booth. Oh that’s right…To talk about the 1972 Dolphins! Please, would that go away! Every freaking year, it’s 1972, 1972, 1972…Would you please, my ears are bleeding! I must admit though Shula can back peddle with the best of them as he quickly noted that he backed off his "asterisk statement"…Now pretending to love the Pats just like he pretends to love his NutriSystem! Come Don, we all know you hate the Pats, hate Bill Billichick, hate Tom Brady, hate Randy Moss for the simple reason that they’re probably going to make everybody forget about the 1972 Dolphins…And for that, that’s why we all love them! Now, when it comes playoff time, I hope their season goes up in smoke!
Now see, if that happened, (which I know is wishful thinking) then the question about "What’s wrong with New England can be posed and everyone can colonoscopy it, but until then everybody needs to shut their cake holes! There’s nothing wrong with the Pats…Oh wait, I’ve got some breaking news to report! It has just been confirmed that Tom Brady, (yes, the Golden Boy…yes, Mr. Gisele Bundchen) has a hang nail! Holy Shit…Now that’s a big story! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to jump off a cliff on this one!
How did Belichick let this get out? Okay, who’s the leak? I know one thing…My pants are on fire and I definitely need to start hanging out more at the Golden Arches!! Super Size Me Please!! What do I mean? Well roll it….
