Hideki Matsui Not Going to be Ready for August

The New York Yankees, who recently added to their potent offense with the addition of Bobby Abreu, will not thave the services of OF Hideki Matsui, who is sidelined with a wrist injury. Matsui was not cleared to resume taking batting practice following an examination on Thursday. Without this clearance, Matsui will likely not rejoin the team until September.
