Hey Brind'amour...

So I sat down and watched game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals last night, which was probably the first time I have sat down and watched a full hockey game in years. Anyway, watching Carolina Hurricanes captain Rod Brind'amour reminded of an incident I witnessed a few years ago.

I was at a New York Rangers-Philadelphia Flyers hockey game at MSG and Brind'amour, then on the Flyers had scored a go ahead goal. As play resumed, they announced Brind'amour's goal over the PA a Rangers fan next to me yelled "Hey Brind'Amour, your jersey should be pink!" Needless to say if was one of the funniest things I have ever heard at any sporting event.

Despite the humor of the comment, I must admit that Brind'amour is a pretty tough player. But is there any other professional athlete that should be forced to wear a pink jersey?

I'd also like to point out that Brind'Amour is one of the leading competitiors for ugliest man in in the NHL

If you wanted to look at a rock for those late 90s flyers teams, he was it ever hear the story about why he was traded (Its probably not true, but entertaining non the less)

Wait, was it that thing about Lindros sleeping with Brind'Amour's wife? Because if I had Lindros' glass jaw (glass skull, really), I wouldn't do anything that might put me in danger of being punched in the face... Maybe Lindros should be forced to wear a pink jersey. Either that, or Alexander Daigle.
