Herschel Turner (Herschel Turner) was born on June 17, 1942 in Houston, Kentucky. After going to high school at Campbell County (Alexandria, KY), Turner attended the University of Kentucky. Turner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1964 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1964 was Herschel Turner's best year.
