Herschel Ramsey (Herschel Randolph Ramsey) was born on April 9, 1911 in Chillicothe, Texas. After going to high school at Chillicothe (TX), Ramsey attended Texas Technical University. Ramsey made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1939 was Herschel Ramsey's best year.
