Herman Reich (Herman Charles Reich) was born on November 23, 1917 in Bell, California. He made his Major League debut on May 3, 1949 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1949, his rookie year, he hit .279 with 3 home runs and 34 RBI. Reich played for the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 1 year career.
