Herman Moore (Herman Joseph Moore) was born on October 20, 1969 in Danville, Virginia. After going to high school at George Washington (Danville, VA), Moore attended the University of Virginia. Moore made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions and New York Giants over the course of his 12 year career.
Most people believe that 1995 was Herman Moore's best year, as he hauled in 123 receptions, had 1686 receiving yards and caught 14 TD passes.
