Herman Hodges (J. Herman Hodges) was born on November 22, 1914 in Ozark, Alabama. Hodges attended Samford University. Hodges made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Brooklyn Dodgers. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers for his entire 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1941 was Herman Hodges's best year.
