Herm Davis (Hermit Davis) was born on March 31, 1911 in Double Springs, Alabama. Davis attended Birmingham-Southern College. Davis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1936 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
