Herbie Dobbins (Herbert Dobbins) was born on June 22, 1951 in Statesville, North Carolina. After going to high school at Pomona (CA), Dobbins attended Mount San Antonio College and San Diego State University. Dobbins made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 1 year career.
