Bruce Alford (Herbert Bruce Alford, Jr.) was born on April 21, 1945 in Fort Worth, Texas. After going to high school at Paschal (Fort Worth, TX), Alford attended Texas Christian University. Alford made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Washington Redskins. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Washington Redskins the entire time. Alford also played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills the entire time.
Most people believe that 1969 was Bruce Alford's best year.
