Herb Williams (Herbert Earl Williams) was born on August 30, 1958 in Lafayette, Louisiana. After going to high school at McKinley (Baton Rouge, LA), Williams attended Southern University. Williams made his professional debut in the NFL in 1980 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 3 year career.
