Herb Titmas (Herbert James Titmas) was born on December 14, 1905. After going to high school at Manlius Military Academy (Manlius, NY) and St. John's (Manlius, NY), Titmas attended Syracuse University. Titmas made his professional debut in the NFL in 1931 with the Providence Steam Roller. He played for the Providence Steam Roller for his entire 1 year career.
