Herb Stock (Herbert Louis Stock) was born on September 3, 1899 in Columbus, Ohio. After going to high school at Commerce (Columbus, OH), Stock attended Kenyon College. Stock made his professional debut in the NFL in 1924 with the Columbus Tigers. He played for the Columbus Tigers for his entire 1 year career.
