Herb Roedel (Herbert Thomas Roedel) was born on March 30, 1939 in Appleton, Wisconsin. After going to high school at St. Mary's (Menasha, WI), Roedel attended Marquette University. Roedel made his professional debut in the AFL in 1961 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Oakland Raiders for his entire 1 year career.
