Herb Rapp (Herbert Leo Rapp) was born on July 21, 1905 in Hamilton, Ohio. After going to high school at Hamilton (OH), Rapp attended Xavier University. Rapp made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Staten Island Stapletons. He played for the Staten Island Stapletons for his entire 2 year career.
