Herb Paterra (Herbert E. Paterra) was born on November 8, 1940 in Glassport, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Glassport (PA), Paterra attended Michigan State University. Paterra made his professional debut in the AFL in 1963 with the Buffalo Bills. He played for the Buffalo Bills for his entire 1 year career.
