Herb Banet (Herbert Charles Banet) was born on October 17, 1913 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. After going to high school at South Side (Fort Wayne, IN), Banet attended the University of Manchester. Banet made his professional debut in the NFL in 1937 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 1 year career.
