Herb Adams (Herbert Loren Adams) was born on April 14, 1928 in Hollywood, California. He made his Major League debut on September 17, 1948 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1949, his rookie year, he hit .293 with 0 home runs and 16 RBI. Adams played for the Chicago White Sox for his entire 3 year career.
