Hensley Meulens (Hensley Filemon Acasio Meulens) was born on June 23, 1967 in Willemstad, Curacao. He made his Major League debut on August 23, 1989 for the New York Yankees. In 1991, his rookie year, he hit .222 with 6 home runs and 29 RBI. Meulens played for the New York Yankees, Montreal Expos and Arizona Diamondbacks over the course of his 7 year career.
