Henry Matthews (Henry Matthews) was born on March 17, 1949 in Akron, Ohio. After going to high school at South (Akron, OH), Matthews attended Michigan State University. Matthews made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New Orleans Saints and New England Patriots over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1973 was Henry Matthews's best year.
