Henry Dyer (Henry Louis Dyer) was born on January 28, 1945 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. After going to high school at Chaneyville (Zachary, LA), Dyer attended Grambling State University. Dyer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1966 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Washington Redskins and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1969 was Henry Dyer's best year.
