Help:Fanboxes
Under the new format for userpages, you can't see the edit button until something is on it. So there are two ways to do this. 1. use your userwiki page ([[Userwiki:your name here]]). Or 2. if you still want to add them to your userpages, go to your userpage, and add "&action=edit" to the url.
Now that you've done that, what you do is you scroll down to below your board and click "edit" on the right hand side of your page.
Then, to add the sections, follow this format:
== Section Name Here ==
Then, add the fanboxes below the section.
So lets say that I want to add my fanbox to my userpage, under the section "ArmchairGM stuff". I'd use the following format:
== ArmchairGM stuff ==
{{False Prophet Fan}}
Then if you were to want to create rows of fanboxes so they aren't scattered across the page, use this format
{|
|{{False Prophet Fan}}
|{{BAN MANNY STILES fan}}
|{{Demonboy Fan}}
|-
|{{DNL Friend}}
|}
The Link with the dash on it starts a new line, so the DNL Fanbox would be below the False Prophet fanbox.
To find the fanboxes you want, you have to do a bit of searching. Find the userpage that has the one you want, and then click edit on their page, and find the code for that box. Alternatively, and probably with more success, try the Userwiki pages. It allows for users to add fanboxes and wikitext for the entire page without any of the profile stuff. Users that have showed up since the creation of the nice profile pages will probably have them there. Users with fanboxes still on their userpage are probably old-timers.
The table code above gives you the following:
