Heinie Scheer (Henry William Scheer) was born on July 31, 1900 in New York, New York. He made his Major League debut on April 20, 1922 for the Philadelphia Athletics. In 1922, his rookie year, he hit .170 with 4 home runs and 12 RBI. Scheer played for the Philadelphia Athletics for his entire 2 year career.
