Born on April 19, 1973 in Troy, Ohio, Heath Murray (Heath Robertson Murray) played for the San Diego Padres, Detroit Tigers and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 4 year career. Murray broke into the bigs on May 24, 1997 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 5.76 ERA in 50 innings pitched in 1999, his rookie year.
