Haslem, Artest Suspended

Udonis Haslem has been suspended by the NBA for throwing a mouthpiece at Referree Joe Crawford during the 2nd quarter of game 1 between the Heat and the Bulls after what he felt was a missed call. Ron Artest has been suspended for one game for a flagrant foul on Emanuel Ginobili.

Frankly, I think Haslem got a break only being suspended for one game. When it comes down to it, is throwing your mouth piece so different from spitting? How many games would he have gotten for spitting at the ref? I think it'd be more than one. As for Artest, I whole-heartedly agreed with his suspension. He got suspended for that elbow, but nobody is talking about the other elbow he got away with that he threw at Tim Duncan at another point in that game. He needs to ride the pine for a game while he chills out a little bit, and maybe remembers why he got thrown out of Indiana in the first place.
