Has The Sports Media Gone "Facktarded"

Lately I can't stand the anyone involved in the media regarding sports. Seriously not one single sports columnist*, journalist*, analyst*, broadcaster*-- not one. It really appears like they have all gone "facktarded"-
What proof do I have? None. It's just my opinion. But it seems over the last few months that everytime I read an article on-line or in the newspaper I'm dumbfounded on who stupid it is.
It appears that no one is safe from the sports media- if you're an athlete and you talk to the media you will get criticized- if your team sucks balls and they are losing and you stay positive they rip on you, if you speak against your team you're not a team player. If your team is playing well and you say "yeah my team if playing well" your bragging. Same philosophy for the coach or manager. If you make a trade you're an idiot, if you don't make the trade you're an idiot- if you get Kobe you're an idiot, if you don't get Kobe you're an idiot.
Another example is the entire Urlacher situation here in Chicago- this is freakin football- a contact sport- why the hell would he publically go and tell the opposing team that he's hurt? Yet he's publically getting bashed by the media for saying he's okay. If you were the QB and your shoulder was hurt why would you tell the other team this information?
Again, what is going on in the world?
My suggestion- all the players should shut the hell up and not talk- they aren't paid to talk- I actaully don't really care what they have to say anyway! Just play the damn game and shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Shut up. Every team should have a PR guy who talks to the media. This would eliminate all the bull crap that's going on in the sports media today and rid the world of idiot douchebags who make a carrier out of saying stupid stuff just to get a rise out of people. Then all the shows on ESPN would also be cancelled and the world would be a better place.
