Harvey Martin (Harvey Banks Martin) was born on November 16, 1950 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at South Oak Cliff (Dallas, TX), Martin attended Texas Agricultural and Mechanical University-Commerce. Martin made his professional debut in the NFL in 1973 with the Dallas Cowboys. He played for the Dallas Cowboys for his entire 11 year career.
Most people believe that 1982 was Harvey Martin's best year, as he recorded 8 sacks.
