Harry Mehre (Harry James Mehre) was born on September 18, 1901 in Lincoln, Indiana. Mehre attended the University of Notre Dame. Mehre made his professional debut in the NFL in 1922 with the Minneapolis Marines. He played for the Minneapolis Marines for his entire 2 year career.
