Harry Kloppenberg (William Harry Kloppenberg) was born on August 30, 1908 in Bronx, New York. After going to high school at Xavier (New York, NY), Kloppenberg attended Fordham University. Kloppenberg made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Staten Island Stapletons. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Staten Island Stapletons over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1934 was Harry Kloppenberg's best year.
