Born on February 13, 1906 in Parkin, Arkansas, Harry Kelley (Harry Leroy Kelley) played for the Washington Senators and Philadelphia Athletics over the course of his 6 year career. Kelley broke into the bigs on April 16, 1925 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 3.86 ERA in 235.1 innings pitched in 1936, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Harry Kelley's best season was 1936, when he posted a 3.86 ERA, won 15 games and struck out 82 batters.
