Harry Englund (Harry C. Englund) was born on August 13, 1900 in Rockford, Illinois. After going to high school at Central (Rockford, IL), Englund attended none. Englund made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Chicago Staleys. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Chicago Staleys the entire time. Englund also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Chicago Bears the entire time.
