Harry Craft (Harry Francis Craft) was born on April 19, 1915 in Ellisville, Mississippi. He made his Major League debut on September 19, 1937 for the Cincinnati Reds. In 1938, his rookie year, he hit .270 with 15 home runs and 83 RBI. Craft played for the Cincinnati Reds for his entire 6 year career.

Most people believe that Harry Craft's best season was 1938, when he slugged 15 home runs and knocked in 83 runs.
