Harry Buffington (Harry Webster Buffington) was born on July 27, 1919 in Pryor, Oklahoma. Buffington attended Oklahoma State University. Buffington made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the New York Giants. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the New York Giants the entire time. Buffington also played in the AAFC for 3 years, playing for the Brooklyn Dodgers the entire time.

Most people believe that 1942 was Harry Buffington's best year.
