Harry Bright (Harry James Bright) was born on September 22, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on August 7, 1958 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1961, his rookie year, he hit .240 with 4 home runs and 21 RBI. Bright played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Washington Senators, New York Yankees and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Harry Bright's best season was 1962, when he slugged 17 home runs and knocked in 67 runs.
