Harry Benson (Harry Hartley Benson) was born on October 7, 1909 in Baltimore, Maryland. After going to high school at City College (Baltimore, MD), Benson attended McDaniel College. Benson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1935 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles for his entire 1 year career.
