Harlon Hill (Harlon Junius Hill) was born on May 4, 1932 in Killen, Alabama. After going to high school at Lauderdale County (Florence, AL), Hill attended the University of North Alabama. Hill made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears and Pittsburgh Steelers over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1954 was Harlon Hill's best year, as he hauled in 45 receptions, had 1124 receiving yards and caught 12 TD passes.
