Harley Mccollum (Harley Raymond McCollum) was born on February 28, 1916. After going to high school at Stillwell (OK) and Wagoner (OK), Mccollum attended Tulane University. Mccollum made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1946 with the New York Yankees. He played for the Chicago Rockets and New York Yankees over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1947 was Harley Mccollum's best year.
