Harley Boss (Elmer Harley Boss) was born on November 19, 1908 in Hodge, Louisiana. He made his Major League debut on July 19, 1928 for the Washington Senators. In 1933, his rookie year, he hit .269 with 1 home run and 53 RBI. Boss played for the Washington Senators and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Harley Boss's best season was 1933, when he knocked in 53 runs.
