Harden Pitches Well in His Return

Although Rich Harden has been sidelined since April 26 with a back injury, the Oakland Athletics SP pitched well in his return on Sunday. He held the Minnesota Twins to one run in four innings of work. Working on a strict 80 pitch limit, Harden struck out six, walked three, and gave up four hits before leaving the game after his 79th pitch. The Twins scored one run on Joe Mauer's solo HR in the first inning. Harden will next face the New York Yankees.
