Happy to see Cleveland...

Questioned today by one of my fellow workers if I was sad the New York Yankees lost to the Cleveland Indians. My sharp and clear response was NO! Do you think Red Sox fans really need to see the Sox play the Yanks? NO WAY!

For Baseball sake I am sure glad it's not another Sox vs. Yanks series! Even for us it can get old. Sometimes you can get too much of a good thing. It is refreshing (as well as funny) that the Yanks experience some down fall. Now granted there is a bit of overload in Sox Nation as well but certainly not to the extent of New York shoving the Yankees down our collective throats.

All be it with how the series turn out with Boston and Cleveland, Boston doesn't need to beat the Yankees to solidify anything (they did it with winning the AL East).

So good bye Yankees...Peace out Los Angeles!

Time for Boston and Cleveland!

I am very excited to see Cleveland and Boston. I think it's going to be a great series that could go seven games.

I would've LOVED to see the Sawx play the Yankees. It would've proved who the dominant team was, even if there was a change in the standings.

The ALCS will still show the two dominant teams. Just that the Yanks are not one of them.

Let me rephrase that. The dominant team in the AL East, since the Yankees won more games than the Red Sox and almost took the division in a pretty tight season ending between them. I would've liked to see them battle one more time, where it all counts.

The two best teams in the AL made it to the LCS. And as a Red Sox fan, facing the other best team in the AL worries me. I'm enjoying the Schadenfreude of a Yankee exit, but come Friday, I might not be so happy.

Game 1 with Beckett vs. Sabathia in Fenway is the perfect way to start the ALCS. We don't need those damn Yankees to watch good baseball.
