Hap Farber (Louis Allen Farber, Jr.) was born on July 1, 1948 in Norfolk, Virginia. After going to high school at William B. Murrah (Jackson, MS), Farber attended the University of Mississippi. Farber made his professional debut in the NFL in 1970 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 1 year career.
