Hank Steinbacher (Henry John Steinbacher) was born on March 22, 1913 in Sacramento, California. He made his Major League debut on April 21, 1937 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1938, his rookie year, he hit .331 with 4 home runs and 61 RBI. Steinbacher played for the Chicago White Sox for his entire 3 year career.
