Born on August 16, 1887 in Floyd, Arkansas, Hank Robinson (John Henry Robinson) played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals and New York Yankees over the course of his 6 year career. Robinson broke into the bigs on September 2, 1911 with the Pittsburgh Pirates, and put up a 2.26 ERA in 175 innings pitched in 1912, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Hank Robinson's best season was 1912, when he posted a 2.26 ERA, won 12 games and struck out 79 batters.
