Hank Rivera (Henry Charles Rivera) was born on December 25, 1938 in Los Angeles, California. After going to high school at Belmont (Los Angeles, CA), Rivera attended Los Angeles City College and Oregon State University. Rivera made his professional debut in the AFL in 1962 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Buffalo Bills and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1963 was Hank Rivera's best year.
