Hank Majeski (Henry Majeski) was born on December 13, 1916 in Staten Island, New York. He made his Major League debut on May 17, 1939 for the Boston Braves. In 1939, his rookie year, he hit .272 with 7 home runs and 54 RBI. Majeski played for the Boston Braves, Philadelphia Athletics, New York Yankees, Chicago White Sox, Cleveland Indians and Baltimore Orioles over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that Hank Majeski's best season was 1948, when he hit for a .310 average and knocked in 120 runs.
