Born on June 27, 1921 in Brooklyn, New York, Hank Behrman (Henry Bernard Behrman) played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Giants over the course of his 4 year career. Behrman broke into the bigs on April 17, 1946 with the Brooklyn Dodgers, and put up a 2.93 ERA in 150.2 innings pitched in 1946, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Hank Behrman's best season was 1946, when he posted a 2.93 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 78 batters.
